Mystery Play Internet Radio has been broadcasting old-time radio on the internet for 22 years. MPIR has evolved from simple playlists of mp3 formatted radio plays to sophisticated live stream programming to net casting on various listening devices. Clyde J. Kell the owner and operator of Mystery Play Internet Radio has only one purpose and passion. To enable as many people as possible from all over the world to listen and share old-time radio. My creativity now extends to creating visual art in acrylic, oil, watercolor, and pen and ink illustrations.

The comedy stream has been updated and some brief information about the comedy shows played on the MPIR Comedy OTR stream.

Fibber McGee and Molly is an American radio comedy series which maintained its popularity over decades. It premiered on NBC in 1935 and continued until its demise in 1959, long after radio had ceased to be the dominant form of entertainment in American popular culture.

Our Miss Brooks is an American situation comedy starring Eve Arden as a sardonic high school English teacher. It began as a radio show broadcast on CBS from 1948 to 1957. When the show was adapted to television (1952–56), it became one of the medium's earliest hits. In 1956, the sitcom was adapted for big screen in the film of the same name.

With summer time July in particular Old Time Radio shows would go on vacation. That being the case I am playing some of the Fibber McGee & Molly episodes, and Our Miss Brooks, Martin & Lewis and Jack Benny Program, originally aired in January.

This is a departure from my normal routine of playing shows seasonally  based. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
