Mystery stream and Comedy OTR Updated
Now playing are what I call "Rare OTR" programs. These are shows that are audition or single run programs. Very similar to pilot episodes of television shows. For one reason or another, they never took off into full series. Or in some situations only one or two episodes survived time.
These shows are not in wide circulation, and are usually not played on Old Time Radio internet stations. With-in the mp3 tags I've marked them as (Rare OTR) I hope you enjoy them.
Rare Old Time Radio shows:
The Black Chapel, Foreign Assignment, Bogart Presents, Cases of Mr Ace, Police Woman, Deadline Mystery, Fantasy, Secret Missions, Security Agent, Crime Correspondent, Beyond This World, Operation Danger, Wanted, The Judge, Last Man Out, I Cover The Waterfront, Action Eighty, Adventures Inc, The Amazing Nero Wolfe, Attorney For Defense, I Was A Convict, Police Blotter, Attorney At Law.
Mixed in the playlist are single episodes of:
Big Town, Dark Fantasy, Dragnet, Escape, The Hall of Fantasy, Inner Sanctum Mysteries, Let George Do It, Molle Mystery Theater, Radio City Playhouse, Screen Directors Playhouse, Tales of the Texas Rangers, Yours Truly Johnny Dollar.
All for your listening enjoyment.
Your contributions via http://www.patreon.com/mpir or one time donation are needed to keep the shows playing. If you haven't sent in a donation. Please do so today. Mystery Play Internet Radio is listener supported. Keep the shows coming for those that are unable to contribute.

However, more importantly, please let your friends and relatives know how much you enjoy the programming of MPIR. Spread the word via social media!
The MPIR Comedy OTR stream is featuring the following shows:
Several episodes of The Great Gildersleeve the first successful "Spin-off" program, where a character from one show leaves and a new program is built around them. While this is certainly true, there is much more to the show than that. The show was well acted, well produced, and well written. It was everything that long time sponsor Kraft Foods could have wanted, because audiences returned to it every week from 1941 through 1954.
Father Knows Best, Fibber McGee And Molly, The Fred Allen Show, The Halls Of Ivy, The Harold Peary Show, Our Miss Brooks, Ozzie And Harriet, The Mel Blanc Show.
