Hello MPIR Fans & Friends,
The play lists for the Mystery stream is featuring radio plays of the dramatic film noir genre. Film Noir, is a style or genre of cinematographic film marked by a mood of pessimism, fatalism, and menace. The term was originally applied (by a group of French critics) to American thriller or detective films made in the period 1944–54 and to the work of directors such as Orson Welles, Fritz Lang, and Billy Wilder.
The radio plays featured are mostly written and directed and acted by the same folks that created the film noir movies of the period. It's "Movies For Your Ears" time on Mystery Play Internet Radio.
